Wheel repairs
Same-day refinishing is a fast, low cost option when you have only cosmetic damage to the face of your wheels unlike full alloy wheel re-manufacturing, a process usually taking several days. Once you have made an appointment with one of our technicians, the repair itself will take between 1-2 hours for a single wheel and between 3-5 hours for a set of four.

Yes. The process is the same as if you had your cars bodywork repaired at a bodyshop. The wheel is taken off your car and the damaged paintwork is removed and repairs are carried out to the metal if necessary.
The full face of the wheel is then primed, painted, lacquered and fully cured before the wheel is fitted back to the vehicle. The end result is the face of your alloys will have the appearance of a new wheel.
Yes. We can match all colours of painted alloys. Our technicians are also able to offer a range of custom colours and finishes if you require a unique look for your alloys.
All our members offer a minimum 12-month guarantee.
It is not possible to restore these finishes to their original condition with same-day refinishing. Our technicians are able to repair damage to the wheels and give them an excellent painted finish that will allow you to still benefit from a same day service.
However, we do have recommended alloy wheel re-manufacturers that we can put you in touch with, although these repairs are not available on a same-day service.
We have network members covering most of the UK.
Indicative prices per wheel for the repairs are as follows:
- Up to 19 - up to £65 + VAT
- 19 to 20 - up to £75 + VAT

Prices may vary depending on location and type of alloy wheel.
Some specialist finishes may incur an additional charge.

There has never been a better time to enter into this opportunity, as the awareness of this service is growing rapidly, yet there are few providers offering a quality same-day service.
An important part of developing your customer base will be your one-to-one Training & Business Development support included in the Business Packages. This will involve us looking at your local area and identifying potential customers in both the trade and retail sectors. We will then work closely with you to create and implement a structured marketing plan. Furthermore, the ALLOYcraft web site offers another access point for all potential customers to find out about the same-day service and make an Enquiry, which in turn is fed directly to you as part of the network.
Anyone with a car with alloy wheels is a potential customer, so your customer base could be as broad as you like. From the millions of Motoring Public through to Company Car owners, Car Dealerships, Fleet & Vehicle Rental Operators etc., the opportunities are significant.
No, the ALLOYcraft system is not a franchise. Our aim is to continue to expand the ALLOYcraft network throughout the UK and for the brand name to become synonymous with a quality same-day alloy wheel refinishing service that will benefit all operators.
Included in each Package is the opportunity to take the ALLOYcraft Brand Licence to ensure you benefit from National and International Brand exposure. This way the network grows and your business grows, without the additional territorial & developmental restrictions often associated with a franchise.
Based upon our considerable experience, the ALLOYcraft system provides what we know is needed to offer a quality same-day alloy wheel refinishing service. The system consists of a number of service Packages put together in order to suit most individuals and companies. These can be workshop and/or mobile based.
On the practical side, these packages include equipment & materials specifically developed or sourced as the best available to provide same-day refinishing to retail standard. Furthermore, the one-to-one training plus the marketing materials & assistance will help you prepare to generate a return on your investment.

The ALLOYcraft system brings together, for the first time, equipment we have manufactured exclusively for the purpose of providing quality same-day refinishing in a controlled environment. These include our unique dust and fume Filter Systems and Curing Cabinet which incorporates state of the art Ultra-Violet light technology.
We also include the latest UV clear coatings and a selection of pre-mixed colours to quickly match most alloy wheels. The finish achieved using our extract and curing process is superior in terms of gloss and durability and takes a fraction of the time compared to more traditional materials and methods.
Almost anyone reasonably fit and dexterous can be trained in a very short time. Our Training and Business Support Package of 3-5 days (depending on previous experience) is usually sufficient to learn to prepare and refinish a wheel.
The ALLOYcraft one-to-one Training follows a structured programme and covers each stage of the process towards refinishing an alloy wheel to retail standard.
As in any business, this will depend upon you, your motivation to create and maintain a successful operation and the market sectors you choose to work in.
However, based upon our experience and once the service is established, it is possible for an operative to refinish between 4 and 16 alloy wheels in a working day. The Retail Prices currently achievable nationally, range from £45 to £95 per wheel and will be dependant upon various factors including e.g. geographical location, size of wheel & amount of damage. We believe £55 per wheel is a good average retail price for the purpose of estimating potential turnover, so £220 to £880 in one day would not be unrealistic.
Example of Annual Turnover calculation: only 4 wheels per day, 5 days per week at £55 per wheel could generate £57,000+ per annum.
ALLOYcraft systems are available in three Service Package options. These can be workshop and/or mobile based.
The ALLOYcraft Basic Package for existing auto trade repairers can be purchased from £8,995 excluding VAT, delivery and installation.
An ALLOYcraft Business Package can be purchased from £11,995 to £15,995 excluding VAT, delivery and installation.
The Basic Package is ideal for those who may be associated with the automotive industry and already have some basic skills & equipment.
The Business Packages are custom-made for the individual or company wanting to break into this lucrative same-day refinishing market, containing a more comprehensive range of equipment, materials and support to provide the ideal service launch pad.
